Just when you think McCabe’s days as a Leaf couldn’t get any worse, he puts the puck in his own net with under 5 seconds to go in overtime. With failed attempts to throw one pass Raycroft earlier in the game, he sure didn’t dissapoint the Sabre fans in OT. Maybe he should sit for a few games and regroup. Come back and make maybe just 2 mistakes, or hell, even 1 would be quite an improvement.
I’ll leave the rest of the defense for another time.
